Rektor UGM Membuka Rangkaian Kegiatan Dies Natalis ke-74 UGM
Peringatan Dies Natalis ke-74 UGM tahun ini mengusung tema Transformasi Digital: Harmonisasi Inovasi dan Kemanusiaan. Rangkaian aktivitas dapat diselenggarakan sebagai anggota dari peringatan dies natalis, diawali dari upacara pembukaan Jumat (23/6) di Balairung sampai acara puncak pada tanggal 19 Desember mendatang.
Pembukaan dies natalis kali ini diikuti oleh ribuan civitas dan diramaikan bersama dengan aktivitas olahraga bersama, pembentukan formasi UGM oleh para peserta, kontes busana, dan acara hiburan. Pada peluang ini juga dilakukan peluncuran Data-mart dan e-Mall UGM serta buku Capaian Kepemimpinan Satu Tahun Rektor UGM.
“Kita menghendaki semua kemajuan yang kami coba untuk mengikuti bersama, yang merupakan tantangan kami bersama, itu tidak menghilangkan sisi-sisi kemanusiaan, justru dapat membawa dampak kami jadi kokoh, jadi sanggup berkarya dan menebar kemanfaatan bagi masyarakat luas,” kata Rektor.
Selain civitas UGM, aktivitas ini juga diikuti oleh perwakilan dari sejumlah mitra UGM beserta masyarakat kurang lebih UGM. Pada peluang ini ia mengajak civitas UGM dan para mitra untuk bergerak bersama dengan bagi kemajuan UGM. “Terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang telah berpartisipasi. Mari kami semua yang mencintai UGM bergerak untuk kejayaan Universitas Gadjah Mada,” ucapnya.
Terdapat sejumlah hal unik dalam pembukaan Dies Natalis kali ini. Seremoni pembukaan melibatkan pengibaran banner oleh tiga buah drone yang diterbangkan di atas halaman Balairung UGM. Salah satu drone yang digunakan adalah drone yang dikembangkan oleh tim Gamaforce UGM.
Ketua Panitia Pelaksana Dies Natalis ke-74 UGM, Prof. Selo, MT., Ph.D., menerangkan bahwa harmonisasi inovasi dan kemanusiaan menjadi isu yang menarik untuk diangkat di tengah jaman revolusi industri 4.0.
“Revolusi industri mestinya tidak melunturkan kemanusiaan. Harapannya perayaan Dies Natalis berikan momentum spesifik yang berkesan tidak hanya bagi komunitas akademis tetapi juga para mitra, memperkuat kami mendhadapi tantangan besar dalam menyeimbangkan inovasi dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan,” paparnya.
Selo menerangkan, bermacam aktivitas telah disiapkan untuk memeriahkan Dies Natalis kali ini, terasa dari kompetisi seni dan olahraga sampai kronologis webinar. “Rangkaian acara ini dapat terasa diselenggarakan sejak hari ini, dan ditutup nantinya bersama dengan rapat terbuka di tanggal 19 Desember,” ungkapnya.
Menteri Koperasi dan UKM Berharap Mahasiswa KKN Bantu UMKM
Menteri Koperasi dan UKM, Teten Masduki, menghendaki mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pembelajaran Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (KKN PPM) UGM sanggup membantu pengembangan usaha kecil menengah masyarakat di tiap-tiap lokasi KKN.
Hal selanjutnya disampaikan Teten waktu pelepasan 7.079 mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pembelajaran Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (KKN PPM) periode 2 tahun 2023, Jumat (23/6) di Balairung UGM. Tujuh ribu mahasiswa selanjutnya berasal dari 19 fakultas untuk mengabdi di 31 provinsi, 97 kabupaten, 204 kecamatan, dan lebih dari 400 desa di penjuru Indonesia.
Teten menyebutkan para mahasiswa di daerah KKN dapat bertemu bersama dengan para pelaku UMKM. Sebab, susunan perekonomian di Indonesia diominasi UMKM.
“Sebesar 99,9% pelaku usaha di Indonesia adalah UMKM. Jadi, di daerah adik-adik dapat bertemu bersama dengan pedagang kecil, pengrajin, petani skala kecil dan lainnya,” ucapnya.
Selain membantu pengembangan usaha, Teten menghendaki mahasiswa KKN UGM juga sanggup studi menjadi enterpreneur. Saat ini, Presiden Jokowi tengah menyiapkan sebuah road map besar di mana Indonesia menuju negara maju di tahun 2045 dan menjadi lima besar kekuatan ekonomi dunia. Salah satu yang disiapkan tidak cuman membangun infrastruktur di semua Indonesia juga jalankan modernisasi demokrasi menjadikan birokrasi lebih rampingg, melayani, dan dikelola ASN berpendidikan.
“Ada satu kembali untuk menjadi negara maju kudu menyiapkan entrepreneur tangguh. Sementara Indonesia baru memiliki 3,47 prosen enterprenur, padahal negara maju pebisnisnya minimum 4%,”jelasnya.
Kondisi selanjutnya menjadikan Indonesia masih jauh tertinggal dibandingkan negara tetangga layaknya Malaysia, Thailand dan Singapura. Ketiga negara selanjutnya jumlah wirausahanya di atas angka 4 persen. Sementara itu, waktu ini lebih dari satu besar negara maju memiliki rasio kewirausahaan di angka 12 persen.
“Harapannya sepulang KKN menjadi memiliki ide mengembangkan bisnis. Membangun platform untuk membantu petani di desa dan UMKM sehingga tidak terlilit dalam skala usaha mikro,”katanya.
