Kristen Bell is an uncontrollable dog-lover. The blonde actress couldn’t help but rescue a hauled animal from the disaster of Hurricane Katrina.  Kristen, who already own two dogs, says, “She's an 11-year-old black Labrador with no teeth, one ear and she breathes like Darth Vader . "And she eats random objects. She has eaten a carton of cigarettes; a pack of cards. She once knocked a jar of salsa over and ate the salsa and the broken glass." In other news, Kristen’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall reached the second place in American’s box offices after Jackie Chan and Jet Li’s T he Forbidden Kingdom took the first spot.

Kristen Bell attended the Hollywood premiere of her new movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” last Thursday (April 10) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. The blonde star looked radiant in a white and blue strapless dress with a matching jewelry. The film hits theaters on Friday April 18th.

Kristen Bell’s fan might have been delighted to see their star taking the backlot tram tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. The blonde actress was spotted enjoying a drive by the sets of Desperate Housewives and CSI alongside three friends, reports People magazine.

Josh Duhamel and Jon Heder have joined Kristen Bell in the romantic movie “When in Rome." Also starring in the comedy are Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard.  In a recent interview with MTV, Kristen talked about her new challenge in the big screen, “I’m about to go to New York and Rome for 12 weeks to shoot this big Disney movie called ‘When in Rome,’ ” “It is, ideally, going to be next year’s ‘Enchanted,’ their big female-driven romantic comedy. I’m really excited about it. It’ll be the first time I’ve carried a movie this big on my shoulders.”  She also praised Director Mark Steven Johnson from  ‘Grumpy Old Men,’ ‘Simon Birch’ and ‘Ghost Rider,’ , saying “I’m so excited to be working with Mark Steven Johnson, I can’t even tell you. I respect his body of work so much.”  The movie will open theater in 2009.

Kristen Bell suffered a minor car accident in Los Angeles on Friday (March 7). The actress reportedly crashed her Saturn VUE Hybrid sports utility vehicle (SUV) into another SUV driven by a man. The incident took place at Hollywood Boulevard and no one was injured. Bell’s spokesperson claims that a call was made to police, but that no officers showed up at the scene.

Kristen Bell has signed on to star in the romantic movie When in Rome. The movie will be directed by Mark Steven Johnson for Disney and written by David Diamond and David Weissman. Kristen will play a love-starved curator who steals magical coins from the Trevi fountain in Rome and is chased back to New York by a band of belligerent suitors. Filming is scheduled to begin someday in April.

Kristen Bell and Minka Kelly were among the celebrities that showed up yesterday  at the Diamond Center Luncheon in Beverly Hills. The Heroes hottie looked dazzling in a black and white printed dress while the “Friday Night Lights” star enhanced her looks with a white satin gear. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Leighton Meester and Maria Bello were also in attendance.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were seen kissing and cuddling on Miami Beach in January 1. The new couple seemed to be very happy showing their love in public, but then they preferred to go on in private with the help of a hotel employee and his golf cart.

Kristen Bell says she doesn’t get photographers' attention when she is with her Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere. The blonde stunner, who plays Elle Bishop in the second season of the show, admitted she protects Hayden when paparazzi turn too intrusive with her. Kristen tells Complex magazine, "They never take pictures of me." "I just step to the side [when we're out together], and I push myself in front of her when she wants to get out of it." She comments on a particular incident, “I tried to drive her away the other day only to realise that I used my turn signal for half an hour, and I'm like, 'God, why didn't I lose them? What's going on?'"

Kristen Bell was recently seen spending sometime with Dax Sheppard, who gave her a lift to have her car service. The Heroes star and the Punk’d prankster were spotted at Saturn Vue in LA, where Kristen took her car for a not-revealed reason. The two then left in Dax’s pickup truck and stopped in Vivian’s Café for an afternoon meal and conversation, before returning to the car shop.

Kristen Bell was spotted doing some shopping at Rumors in Sherman Oaks, California recently. The blonde star was seen trying several dresses, maybe for the upcoming Christmas parties.

Kristen Bell has joined the Writers Guild strike. The actress, who started working in Heroes recently, accompanied the series creator/executive producer/writer Tim Kring and co-executive producer/writer Jeph Loeb in the strike. Taking to IGN TV, Bell said, “I think people are trying to understand. I mean it's a little confusing to everybody when anybody goes on strike. They always think they're making inappropriate demands, but I think in this case word has gotten out enough that the writers are just looking for some fairness.”

Kristen Bell says she and her Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere are like sisters. Bell tells OK! Magazine, "I've known Hayden Panettiere since she was 8 and I've watched her blossom into one of the loveliest young women out there." She goes on, "She is so articulate, so kind and so caring and I'm just proud of her. It's like a very sisterly relationship. I adore her."

Kristen Bell revealed she took her clothes off once on MTV’s TRL when she "streaked" through the lobby of New York's Minskoff Theater. The star confesses her naked ‘truth’ on the show on November 20, saying she appeared downsized to a distant dot on the screen while appearing in Broadway play The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer in 1999. "I did my first Broadway show downstairs... and you guys used to cut to wides (shots) of the building, so we would watch and see when you did that and we would streak through our lobby... It was really fun," Contactmusic quoted Kristen, as saying.

Kristen Bell has ended her five-year relationship with movie producer Kevin Mann. According to Mann's mother Ellen, the couple split amicably because they were "growing apart. She told Star magazine, "[They] realized that ending the relationship would be best for both of them. There was nobody else involved." Meanwhile, Kristen‘s "Heroes" companion Masi Oka, has recently confessed having a crush on the blonde star. "Kristin is an absolutely amazing individual both on and off screen. We're great friends. Everyone has a crush on her," he was quoted, as saying.

Kristen Bell will appear as the leading character in the long-awaited video game "Assassin's Creed." According to the Hollywood Reporter, she will voice the main part in the story line, settled during the Crusades in the 12th century. No further details were revealed about Bell’ character. “Creed" is the first video game project for the blonde star.

Kristen Bell wishes she would perform more mature roles in the near future . The 27-year-old actress says, “I always have played about 10 years younger than I am, which is a major blessing, even in real life. My family is very petite and I have a young-looking face and good genes, I guess. I'm thankful to my parents. That being said, as an actor, there are certain things I'm going through in my own life in my late 20s and that's what you draw upon in your acting. So I hope I'll be accepted playing closer to my age. I know I still look a lot younger. But I'm thankful to be out of teenage-ville a little bit. I don't dislike it at all, I've just had my fill of it. I've had a lot of it." Today Kristen will make her debut as Ellen on the second season of Heroes, airing on NBC.  "Unfortunately it might be a little bit of a tease, because I start in episode five , and then I'm not in six or seven," Bell said. "But episodes eight and nine have a lot of Elle," Kristen was quoted as saying.

The name of Kristen Bell has been heard as a suitable candidate to star in a potential movie version of Mnemovore according to online sources. Hans Rodionoff is thinking in taking the comic series book to the big screen as he commented at the H.P Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland this week. Rodionoff will be at the helm of the project, based on his own screenplay. He also confirmed that Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth) to be the Executive Producer. The plot tells the story of Kaley, an amnesiac former pro snow boarder who comes out with an astonishing discovery - her snowboarding accident sets her up in the singular position to fight a centuries-old Lovecraftian entity that feeds on the memories of humankind. She finds herself in a battle to protect the loved ones she no longer remembers.

Kristen Bell and her Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere played bowling for charity. The two stars showed up Sunday at the Elevate Hope Foundation’s Bowling For The Arts "Celebrity Games" 2007.  Other cast members from "CSI Miami", "Ugly Betty","Dexter" also attended the event, organized to "raise awareness and much needed funds for abused and abandoned children."

It looks like Heroes star Masi Oka has a crushed on her new co-star Kristen Bell as he praised the blonde star during an interview at Ellen DeGeneres talk show. When Ellen asked the 32-year-old actor if there was something going on between them, he said, "Kristin is an absolutely amazing individual both on and off screen. We're great friends. Everyone has a crush on her." The inquisitive went on, "So you do have a crush on her?" "Everyone does," Oka responded, laughing when DeGeneres inquired, "Is she a good kisser or not?" "I'm sure she is," he said.

Kristen Bell’s voice can be heard tonight at the debut of  ‘Gossip Girl’ on the CW. Starring  Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen and Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, the show promises. Meanwhile, Kristen was seen at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards in a gorgeous blue gown.

Kristen Bell talked about her forthcoming projects with  Entertainment Weekly. On fanboys she said, “These Star Wars nerds drive cross-country to break into George Lucas' ranch and steal a print of [The Phantom Menace] so that their friend with a terminal illness can see it before it comes out”. Regarding her addition to ‘Heroes', reads in the interview, “[Elle] comes in with a bang. She's a bit of a criminal in the beginning. I'm not even sure if they know whether she's going to be bad or good. She has a link to H.R.G. and Peter. She becomes integral to the mystery on the show”.

Kristen Bell is currently very busy, besides Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Heroes, she will start a band with Clark Duke from Greek show. “I think me and Kristen Bell are going to start a band. It's called Kung-Fu Professor. This is a pretty new development, like last week. We met through Edgar Wright, the director of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. I play guitar and a little bit of keys, and she plays keys and sings. I sort of aspire to sing between, like, cigarettes. I give it my all. I got a lot of heart.”, Clark  told New York Magazine.

Kristen Bell will star in NBC’s hit show 'Heroes'. The actress will play the role of Elle, a sultry and enigmatic young lady that will appear in October.  Elle has ties to the alleged death of Peter Petrelli, Noah Bennet’s past and Claire Bennet’s future. Elle will kick off her arc, executing a serious crime, even though it’s not reveal whether she’s good or bad. It was complicated to have Bell’s in the show, as many studios are chasing the actress with a busy schedule. "This was not easy to pull off. But since we’re an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell’s) schedule," explained the show’s creator-exec producer, Tim Kring.

Kristen Bell recently talked with MTV about  a potential movie about Veronica Mars, and sadly said,  “There is no future, unfortunately”. She adds,  “Everybody’s really, really sad to see it go, and we all just keep e-mailing each other. We’re just missing everyone. she has been laid to rest  may she rest in peace.” But who knows... Meanwhile, Bell has turned down a chance to join the cast of ‘Lost.’ It is said that Bell is now thinking in returning back to Broadway, where she began her  professional career in 2001.

Russell Brand has spoken about his role in upcoming movie Forgetting Sarah Marshal, which also stars Kristen Bell. The actor portrays a British rocker Aldous Snow who beds TV host Sarah, performed by Bell. Brand, who has been typecast a god sex for the steamy scenes his shared with the actress, says, “I had to do horseriding and surfing, which I was cr*p at, and a sex scene, which I was obviously superb at.” He continues “It’s a big part.” The film, shot in Hawaii, was not a dream come true for Brand. He says, “It lasted three months and I wanted to go home after four weeks. “Hawaii was beautiful and warm, but it felt like I was being held captive on an island paradise.”

Despite many fans disappointment, CW Executive Dawn Ostroff does not regret of calling of Veronica Mars starred Kristen Bell. The network Entertainment President said during the TCA summer press tour, “I can honestly sit here and say I can not look back and have any regrets.” She added, “I feel that we gave Veronica Mars every chance and as many of you here know, there was no stronger champion of that show than me.  We gave it a better time slot to follow up every single year that it was on the air.  And eventually, we just had to say how much longer do we go on without the show really catching on?”

This year Kirsten Bell was runner-up at PETA’s sexiest vegetarian list among other artists such as Joaquin Phoenix, Milo Ventimiglia, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jared Leto and Lisa Edelstein.. Carrie Underwood and Kevin Eubanks have been chosen the "world's sexiest vegetarians" in the annual contest. In 2006 Veronica Mars’s star and Prince were named as the two sexiest vegetarians.

Kristen Bell says that it is tough to let go of Veronica Mars. When she was asked about what  she would miss most about the character, Bell was reluctant: "Other than everything?" She also confessed, "It feels sort of like graduating high school. You really only recognize how special it was once it's gone away. "And of course everyone graduates from different jobs then they move on, but I don't know I'll find as special a show ever again. Now, Kristen is in Hawaii shooting a comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

'Veronica Mars' has come to an unexpected end; but Kristen Bell will be part of many projects in the big screen during this year until 2008. Bell’s fans will enjoy her in Flatland, an animated movie where she portrays the main role Hex. She also will star Forgetting Sarah Marshall in which she stars as Sarah Marshall, a TV star that goes on a trip with her new fiancé only to find her ex is in the same location. Other projects to mention are Fanboys, an adventure comedy-drama and Antique, a drama about the lives of eight persons that try to  recover from the pains of their past.

Kristen Bell's show 'Veronica Mars' has been called off after three years on the air. The CW's bosses announced on Thursday the last episode of the popular teen drama will air on Tuesday. However, rumours are buzzing that the network want to work with Kristen again. Bell says, "Veronica Mars is over. We're talking about something else. I don't know if it's going to be anything. I'm being honest with you. It could come back in some form, but I don't know what form that would be.

Kristen Bell will star the lead role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a comedy set up at Universal. The romantic comedy tells the story of a heartbroken and afflictive Peter (Segel) who, after an overwhelming  break-up with his girlfriend TV sitcom star Sarah Marshall (Bell), goes  to Hawaii for a little vacation to make an attempt to forget every detail of their relationship. But destiny has other plans for Peter , for Sarah is on holiday in the same exclusive hotel as Peter, along with her new date. The project is expect to start filming in mid-April during Bell's eight-week hiatus from TV's "Veronica Mars".
